Planting Install Crew Intern
Offshoots, Inc. seeks an intern to join our Boston design-build team for the Summer of 2023.
We are looking for assistance installing landscape architectural plantings. We focus on creating sustainable, ecologically sound landscapes. Qualified candidates will have experience or strong interest in the horticultural planting design and the ability to work outside in a variety of weather conditions. Daily responsibilities will include planting and soils installation and garden maintenance. Preferred candidates will have previous experience working outside. Previous experience planting/installing trees and garden material is strongly preferred. A strong interest and general knowledge of environmentally-sustainable landscape design is essential.
Interns will be exposed to sustainable horticultural landscape design techniques and will be trained in the proper installation of plants and garden maintenance practices. Part-time summer and fall opportunities are also available. An internship with Offshoots could turn into a permanent position with the right candidate after graduation.

Our office is located within walking distance to the Orange Line/Sullivan Square in Charlestown, MA. Workday is from 6:00am to 3:00pm on weekdays. Flexible hours and part time positions possible.
