As winter’s grip loosens, our installation team finished planting a vibrant display of spring bulbs and soon to blossom fruit trees in a nearby orchard at Sudbury Farm. The plantings are carefully curated to ensure a seamless succession of blooms, providing visual appeal and ecological benefits throughout the year. The interplay between stone and plants can transform with each weather occurrence, from rain-enhanced greenery to snow-dusted stones, creating ever-changing aesthetics that enrich the backyard’s beauty and functionality throughout the year.
Spring Bulbs
The plantings feature an array of hyacinths, daffodils, and summer snowflakes. These resilient bulbs are the first to bloom, offering a palette of pastel and bright colors that enliven the landscape. In addition, there is an expansive orchard on site including pears, apples, peaches, cherries, and plums which attract pollinators and provide visual appeal. The design of the garden ensures that there is always something in bloom.
